NEW YORK, NY, September 12, 2012 — American Advanced Academy has been selected for the 2012 Best of Northern California Award in the Private & Parochial Schools category by the U.S. Commerce Association (USCA).

The USCA “Best of the West” Award Program recognizes outstanding businesses throughout the country. Each year, the USCA identifies companies that they believe have achieved exceptional success in their local community and business category. These are stellar companies that enhance the positive image of small business through their distinctive service to their customers and community.

“I am deeply humbled by this much coveted & impressive “Best Of The West” Award,” said Dr. Eleanor Chan, CEO & President & also the recipient of the much esteemed & highly prestigious SBA Entrepreneur of the Year, a nationwide award, “it is very much the combined effort & hard work of the faculty, staff, students & parents of American Advanced Academy, with whom I would like to share this extraordinary honor!” She added, “We are committed to building the world’s most compelling academic program with our passion for “Excellence In Education” to continue to enrich the lives of people in the communities we work & live in.”

This is the first year that a business has qualified as a Fifth-Time Award Winner. Various sources of information were gathered and analyzed to choose the winners in each category. The 2012 USCA Award Program focuses on Management Excellence, Leadership, & Contribution to Business Distinction. Winners are determined based on the information gathered both internally by the USCA and data provided by third parties.

The USCA was established to recognize the best of local businesses in their community.
